I don't think they ever do. Can someone please tell all the politicians? I despise war, tyranny, and oppression.

Just for the record: I don't' think punishing a criminal in proportion with his/her crime or overthrowing a tyrant are wrongs. I believe in justice, but if the punishment is out of proportion with the crime, it isn't justice anymore - and no person should be punished for another's crime.

They don't. I say, if politicians want to wage a war, then let them go over and have a fist fight with the politicians of the country they wish to fight. After they have pulverized one another, then let them sit down and work out their problems like civilized human beings. This would save thousands of lives. Of course this would never work, because one would have to have a Utopian society to pull this off. I like your question though.

Well people can't just go around doing things they shouldn't, knowing that they can get away with it. If a person has done a heinous thing like murder somebody then punishing them is the right thing to do. I read about Shanda Sharer and 2 of her murderers are out of jail 36 years early. They should of had the same thing done to them, someone should of sodomized them with a frikkin pole. I know it's nothing to do with the war but things like that make me mad, I 'd gladly set those girls on fire.

With the war in Iraq, I used to be so against it. I got loads of best answers for being against it too. But I looked up about Saddam Hussein and some of the things he did were awful. He was a dictator and was responsible for probably over a million deaths. We can't just turn our back on things like that happening. There are many evil dictators in this world we don't do anything about but Iraq is a better place without him. He would order women accused of being prostitutes to be beheaded infront of their houses and their heads would be displayed to all the villagers. He massacred hundreds of thousands of people. Murder was a normal everyday thing to him. If we never got him, he'd still be doing all of this today. Maybe the UN should of dealt with it, but what we did was a good thing. Civilians were killed but in the end Iraq will be a better place. Tyranny was an everyday thing in Iraq so this war is trying to put a stop to it.

Your spoiled get out in life and travel the world start with South America, then over to Africa, then Afghanistan, and few Arabic countries, then China, spent some time in the sweat shops, by now I think you'd have a GREAT appreciation for the USA and the rights you have, just like what you just wrote, you can and no one will bust down your door and take you away in the night,,,,,,,, well not because of what you wrote any way.

You'll understand what oppression and tyranny really means

I think that if you have to lie a few times to save severa lives then that is making a right. But unless the war and tyrrany has a REALLY REALLY REALLY good reason behind it, its just wrong. oppresion is just wrong not amtter what. Tyrrany is ok if you have a very turbulent country, like Iraq has always been ruled by a monarch and now look at it. Civil War. Its also ok if you have to prevent something terrible happening like a nuclear war.

Two wrongs will never make a right. It is impossible. It will just get you into a ton of trouble like Bush has got us into. No matter what we do or say the government is still going to do what they want to do and get us into more trouble. There are eaiser and better ways to solve things besides war and stuff like that.

No it takes 3 wrongs to make a right. If you take 3 wrong left turns it equals one right turn.

War is bad but not the worst bad. Its worse to think nothing is worth fighting for.

Two wrongs never make a right, however I don't consider our being in Iraq as wrong. If I was younger and they would take me I would put my uniform back on and be right there with my brothers and sisters at arms.

Three lefts make a right.
You have to have a reality check on war though, and see what is REALLY going on. We have saved a lot of good people from EVIL people, and we continue to do so. I would personally kill a hundred EVIL people to save even one good person, without blinking.

What about when God destroyed the two cities of Sodomy and Gonorrhea then he let Lot and his two daughters escape. Was that two wrongs making a right? Oh no the right hid in a cave, got Drunk and committed Incest that couldn't have been it.
