For all you metaphysical believers..........If I desire a particular outcome, say don't want a loved one to do something but the loved one wants the opposite, who gets their desires fullfilled?
If we both have the ability, who wins?

uderstand that it is not your ego that is in control; what is creating your reality comes from a more fundamental form of being that is connected to you and all others. both parties "win" because the outcome of any situation is chosen from a place where both parties have the same desire, and are essentially, the same being.

i believe your question illustrates the flaw in subjective based realities.
this is not to say that our perception does not influence our actions, of course it does, but it is the actions that have an effect on reality, not our desires.

i desire to be profanely wealthy, to own an obnoxious amount of land, and to be able to live entirely self sufficiently.
my desire does nothing to make it happen unless i take action (ie: invest my money so that i can have more, research land to find some in my price range, examine renewable energy sources for my home, etc). If i just sit and wish there is a possibility that it could occur but the probability is in favor of it not occuring.

Have you ever heard of compromise? It is the foundation of all democratic societies. It means talking things over and not proceeding with your will if it is going to hurt someone else with a contrary will. It means debate and arriving at a middle ground acceptable to both.

There must be free will, so if some one opposes you ,your will cannot happen. You do create reality when there is no fighting and opposition, when there is agreement

Others cannot perceive it for you. All rour friends are people who perceive the same reality or people your perception made up.
