Currently MU holds the record as they are a household name throught out the world. Someday Celtic will be able to close the gap if they win Champions League this season and World club champion the next...

We all know this ranking system is even worse than the FIFA National Team ranking... asi es la vida. My wet dream is that FIFA scraps the meaningless Champions, Libertadores & other regional championships and creates a world championship.... 1,024 teams... home & away... then we can see what all the Confederations and leagues are really made out of. I know it sounds like a lot of teams but it really isn't that many rounds.... Round 1: 1,024 Round 2: 512 Round 3: 256 Round 4: 128 Round 5: 64 Round 6: 32 Round 7: 16 Round 8: 8 Round 9: 4 Round 10: 2 So for 20 matches in a year we would actually see a real world champion. And it could even involve a seeding formula where Top Ranked leagues start later in the competition... and Round 6 could be a group stage.

I'm American, hardly pay attention to any sports here, much less European football, but I do know of Manchester United. I don't know if that's because they have a lot of fans or what, but I've certainly heard of them. It's pretty much the only team name I can pull up out of memory for soccer.
