No matter who does the asking it will always be awkward to ask someone out and be turned down. For years boys/ men have had to deal with this almost exclusively because it was considered improper and unladylike for a girl/ woman to ask a boy/ man out. With today's coed working situation and other changes it is now OK in most cases, so ask all he can do is say accept or say no. If he says yes Great have a wonderful time if no so what you never know till you ask.

One, ask him in private. Two, if you think he'd be the type to tell on you, why are you asking him anyway? Always check the character of the people before you ask to date them. If he'd speak behind your back, then he wasn't worth it anyway.
So I'd just say to go and ask him. If he says no, he says no. If he tells his friends, hold your head up high and don't deny it, even though you may feel like melting into the floor. It's nothing to be ashamed of just to ask someone out for a date!
If he's nice and refuses, he'll just say he doesn't like you that way. That's okay, there are plenty of other guys just dying for you to ask them out!

Just ask him, all he can do is say no and as we go through life we hear the no word more than once. If he has any type of character he won't say anything to his friends but that is something that is entirely out of your control. If he does say anything, then he is not worthy of having a date with you in the first place and I would avoid any contact with him in the future.

That's easy kiddo. Just bring it up as if it just entered your mind. For example, "hey there's a get together at so and so and you should come by", don't let him think that it matters if he is there or not. You can make date out of many things, test him before you give your feelings kiddo...hehe....:)>
Also - more important than anything in this process - make sure you cary yourself the right way. Confident and not focused on this situation. Stand up tall kiddo and act as if nothing bothers you...

You need to be confident and just ask if he would like to accompany you to a movie, or to hang out this weekend.
Dont make it obvious that its a date or anything. Just say 'hang out' or something like that.
And if he says no, dont make it a big deal. Shrug it off as it were nothing important and he was just another boy otherwise he will use it against you and make you feel foolish.

go ask him,
it is part of becoming an independant person... if he doesn't accept he may be a bit on the immature side and not sure what too think of all this, but don't worry what he says, does or tells.. let it run of you like water on the ducks back...
so stand your ground young Juliet and ask your Romeo to go out.
If he turns you down, that's o.k., it's part of life and we have all been there... brush yourself off and smile and go on...

Don't ask him! He'll get the wrong idea. Let your Eyes do all of the talking. You were taught this, by your Mother,or someone. If he don't pick up on your hints. He may not be who you want. Good Luck!

This is one aspect of life that is out of your control.
He will never feel "right" about going out with you (or anyone) unless he begins everything.
If you ask him, you are robbing him of the excitement of choosing you.
Best thing to do, if possible, is to focus on what you can and should control--yourself, and not HIM liking you.

Well if he likes you back he will ask you out first.or you should just tell him how you feel.but make such this is the boy you want to go out with first.
