Blues Clues, You could order a cake with blue on it or in the shape of blue, and little cupcakes with him too, you could also have a blues clues pinata, that would be nice you could buy him a little puppy also if he doesnt have one, and make little paw print cookies,or make a blues clues puppet show , or have someone dress up like steve and actually play blues clues with the kids.Or hire someone jus to dress up like blue and walk around, get the blues clues fruit snacks if they make them those are great to put in the goody bags, also little race cars, kids love those thing, have a sit down hand painting area for the kids to make there own paw prints,(hand prints) also dont forget the fface smash cake you can get at your local grocery store for the little one to play in for his self, good luck i'm gonna be planning pretty soon for my daughter she will be 2 in may , her theme is going to be dora the explorer she loves her

We had a blues clues party at the school I work at and we had a blast. We had a "find the clue's" for the adults to find a gift bag that had a small gift cerftificate and some hand lotion(mostly mom's) and for the kids we had a blues clues cake, a blues clues pinanta, blues clues plates, cups, napkins, table cloths, etc, each kid got a blues clues balloon, hat, and blues clues party bag with a mini blues clues beanie baby, a blues clues pair of sunglasses, and a blues clues tshirt. We rented a blues clues themed jumper and I printed out blues clues coloring sheets for the kids to color. We also played a blues clues cd on the radio and later when the kids were tiring out we put on a blues clues movie. The kids had a blast. The kids I work with are all severely disabled and most have a mental age less than 2yrs so I think that whatever we did would be fine for your sons and his fellow party mates!

Although it is nice to have a party theme for your child, he is only two you might want to just have party items like micky mouse plates, cups, cake,etc..If there are going to be mostly adults maybe you can have an entertainer for the kids and higher some young mothers helpers in you town, any 8th grader would love to play with abunch of two year old and get payed about 7 dollars an hour, this may keep some of the moms away from their kids and will let them socialize with the other moms and dads.

You can find Mickey stuff galore at disney websites, etc..and blues clues things for parties are at most party supply places...(plates--bowls--napkins-tablecloths, etc) Also most large chain grocery stores and bakeries have cakes that can have either of those themes--For my son--we had his pic put on the cake surrounded by different themes..it was great!..Your son could wear a constume of blue too--you could look for old halloween costumes-or you could try to get a friend or someone to dress up as Blue or Mickey to surprise him--you could record the theme music and play it during the party and have it showing on your tv during the party-- (maybe with the sound off). You could find pics of blue or mickey from websites and color them out--or color print them and put them all over your walls--You could give away small stuffed animals of blue or mickey as party favors--as much as you want to spend...

I don't know about a theme, but you can do a really cool cake that looks like a swimming pool with a sheet cake and blue jello. I just did a quick search for "swimming pool cake" and got a ton of hits. You can make it as simple or complicated as you want. I've made them before and you can "float" lightweight items on top of the jello. Just remember, before you add the jello, line the cut out portion on the cake with icing and follow the soft-set instructions on the jello box. If it's too watery, it will seep through the bottom. Make sure to put the cake in the fridge to finish setting. You can do clear plastic cups, soft set jello, and insert Swedish fish into them too. You can easily go to a party store and get fish themed paper products and continue with the fish theme or do a luau theme! Good luck!

If your son like Blue's Clues, make eveything blue. Sugar cookies made with blue dye, blue kool-aid. Blue Blue Blue. I like the suggestion that someone else had about making clues and letting them figure things out but at two I don't know how well that would go over. My son turns two on the 13th and he loves curious george. We are going low key, having the movie play in the background with a banana shaped cake with lots of monkeyn' around. Just make it simple and fun and your son will have a blast!

a mickey cake would be easy to make.all you need to do is bake a round for the face and then two smaller rounds as the ears.carve the bottoms out of the two smaller ones so they adjoin to the top.they sell wilton cake decorator guns...so easy to use and just ice the cake to resemble him.for party favors check out the disney store.im sure they have mickey stickers and small stuff.or maybe mickey ears/minnie ears.make sure you serve cheese to the adults!for cake ideas check out cakecentral.com.try oriental trading for party favors too.im a theme party maniac!!also for favors why dont you download some mickey music, like m i c k e y or when you wish upon a star etc.burn some cd's,kids will love it .they also sell cheap label program for cd's.you can put a pic of mickey with your baby's name and birthday info.so cute and enjoyable for parents and kids.not throwaway junk.

I would just go with a "Happy Birthday" or "Happy 2nd Birthday" theme. At this age, the theme of the party is really not that important (noticed) by the child. He just knows he gets to rip open some presents and eat some cake.

You could have a blues clues party and have the kids look for clues to a big prize. Or even create a hunt for the adults. It would be entertaining for all

I like Blues Clues...but either one is cute.
If you can bake..Wilton makes a blues clues shaped cake pan. you can get at Michaels crafts. otherwise you can take any picture to dairy queen and they can screen it in frosting onto an ice-cream cake. what makes a kids party memorable to them is the party favors....most kids like the cheap ones that you find in the party isle.
