other than reasons such as epilepsy, your dog could have too low of blood sugar! it's very important that it get to a vet, but until then, if it starts acting weak, give it some honey or cairo syrup, pedialyte too, just in case it's dehydrated, sometimes if a dog has gotten worms really bad (especially tapeworms) the worms will use up all the dogs nutrients and cause it to seize. i know this cuz it's happenend to me before and my mom as well.
look up the symptoms of tapeworms and see if your dog may have those, if it starts to 'fade out' make sure you get some honey down it, that will give it a boost enough to get it to a vet :) hope it's okay :)

Dogs have seizures for many of the same reasons that humans do. Your vet may be able to tell you a definite answer. There is medication to control that too. An evaluation by a vet is best.

Could be a brain injury, epilepsy, hypoglycemia(low blood sugar) if a small dog, Hydrocephalus(water on the brain) also usually in small dogs, A nursing dog can have eclampsia and it can cause seizures.
