Me and my girlfriend where making love and after we finished we realized the condom which I had bought the day before, had broken (Trojan-ENZ). So I had to take her to planned parenthood and buy her the Plan-B pill which cost me 30$, I was wondering why it broke so I decide to open one of the condoms from the same box, It smelled really foul, and felt stiff, I read the expiration date and it read " EXP 03-20110606" I'm not very sure if it's expired or what but there was definitely something wrong with it. If it was expired, is there something I can do because they sold it to me after it expired? Maybe get my money back or the money I had to spend on the pill? Or maybe any legal actions I can take towards the retailer? Thanks.

The thing is, I bought it from a "mini-market". They don't give receipts when you buy anything, and can someone read the exp date and tell me if it really is expired?

Also, I was careless at check the first one that actually broke for the smell or anything, but the second and third one from the same box had the foul smell and teared easily with a slight stretch. I will surely be more careful next time.

Well the condom that you USED...did it smell foul and feel stiff? Are all teh condoms in the box dated the same? At least take the box back to the pharmacy...maybe you can get your $ back for the condoms. Next time check the dates!

Unless you're ok with it having a higher chance of breaking, I wouldn't trust an expired condom. Would you drink milk thats a few weeks old?

If you have the reciept and is shows that you bought it before the expiration date you should be ok. Other then that contact the Trojan company. They will probably work something out with you.
