Absolutely. It is more important that I have a friendly, attentive waitress with the correct order than some bubble headed boob job with no real personality.

I don't want to seem discriminating towards full figured women, my ex was somewhat full figured herself. However, even though their appearance has nothing to do with their competence in serving and taking orders, bars and nightlife establishments depend on people ordering a lot of drinks.

Unfortunately, society works in such a way that we are easier to order/ask something from someone who is slender and attractive. Depending on the establishment of course; in a busy nightclub, their is no time for chit-chat with the waitress, while in a small cozy place, there is more opportunity for interaction. In these places, staff with people-knowledge are more important and profitable than attractiveness.

I'll give you an example from my own experiences. During the summers I run a small bar/restaurant in France with a capacity of 60-80 people. I hire people who know how to have a short yet meaningful conversation with the customers, which in return is profitable because they keep on returning for years because of the fact that the staff are there to talk to and create a good atmosphere.
During the rest of the year I work in a nightclub, large audience ranging between the ages of 18-28. The music is loud, people are dancing and lounging. They don't need a conversation, they want to be served, and because the crowd is fairly young, they are more focussed on youth and beauty. They staff has less verbal communication with the customers, but there is a lot more physical and body language involved. A flirting sexy waitress can produce an exponentially greater profit than anybody else in such a place.

So, to answer your question: based on competence, of course a full figured woman can be a cocktail waitress, and these people usually also have a better personality and I would suggest them for small cafes and bars. But, based on society's demands and expectations, especially in large clubs and bars, I wouldn't recommend a manager to hire someone like that if their is a younger and thinner option, purely to increase profit based on his customers.

Yes. Full-figured women rule.

Why not? I like to drink and full figured women are pretty strong. This means they can haul more booze to my table on the trays and take the emptys away faster. This means a bigger tip.

Personally i believe confidence is everything; if a waitress is confident, and friendly, along with having a pretty face, it doesn't matter whether she is full figured or skinny.....

Of course. But, how full figured would probably dictate what kind of place she'd be able to cocktail.

Why not? It's not how she's built, but how well she knows her drinks, is her service good and does she relate well with people. There are men out there who prefer their women fuller figured, but then again you're not going to date her, just order a drink from her...I think you could be more open minded

I don't see why not. Being full figured has never stopped me from getting a job, or from being good at my work!

I don't know why not. A full figured woman can handle a tray of drinks as well as any other woman.
