I am a brunette and my hairdresser recently put golden hightlights in my hair. The color is really pretty within my hair, but not where I part my hair. You can see the "stripes" at the very top, but at about eye level down, it looks really pretty. What can she do to fix this?

Honestly, that's the way highlights are. They never do start RIGHT at your scalp. That's the one reason I don't want to get highlights ever again. It honestly makes it look like you haven't dyed your hair in a while.. and it makes me want to re-do my color.

I would say that the only thing she could do would be to even out your color (make your hair all one color again).

she has to put fine hilites in between the existing ones.sounds like she spaced them too far apart or made them too chunky, which is giving you the stipey look.
