You poor thing!!! Why would you feel like life is over at 30???!!! My goodness, you are so young!!! I feel like I am still young and I am 45!!!! I still have so much of life ahead!!! And by the way, I have only been with the person I will be spending the rest of my life with 3 years ago on the 8th of feb!! And it is so nice!!! Try to get a different perspective on things, because trust me, when you get to be 50 and 60 (which is still somewhat young these days), you are going to be so mad at yourself for wasting all those years feeling like you were so old, when you should've been enjoying your youth!!!! Really think about it, I mean these are things I would expect to hear out of someone whos 70 or 80 perhaps, not almost 30!!!

I had a MAJOR mental melt down when I turned 30 last year. But I am married and have 1 son. NOOOOO, your life's not OVER! It's just beginning. I have a friend who is 31 and has still yet to find "the right person". We usually find them when we aren't looking for them. Just surround yourself with friends and live life!!! I mean there are dating services 'n stuff but don't be desperate. Let love come to you. Good luck! It's not the end of the world! And 30 is NOT old.

I just turned 30 in November and am going through the same thing. I think we are screwed and going to be alone forever. If at 40 we have gotten married to others do you want to be my back up plan :)

Life is only over when you die.
Now get on with it (life) and do something practical that suits you in your situation: evening class, internet dating, am dram, whatever gets you out of the house to meet new people.
& remember not to be needy, it's very off putting.
