also, what is new zealand like? from what i have seen and read, it is amazing. how hard would it be for an american like me to be allowed to move to new zealand?

um im a kiwi... apparantly its quite hard to move here... well not hard just expensive... as for nurses.. yes we need them. Good luck

Honey, nurses are needed everywhere. NZ is really expensive and the nurses wages are crap. Thats why I got out and moved to Australia. Pay wise I am a lot better off. I do miss home though.

Check http://www.immigration.govt.nz, where there is a skills shortage list. I'm fairly sure nurses are on the list (the website's out of action at the moment), but it'll certainly make it much easier for you to move there if so. There's plenty of other info on that website too.
