If its a guy I dont know, then I DONT want him approaching me. If its a guy I know, I would prefer it was done in PRIVATE to tell you the truth. It comes off as a little too desperate (and creepy) if a guy has to do it in public.

polite and honest. I once had a guy who was driving by in a car (on the passengers side) get out the car instead of hollering at me inside the car and walk up to me and told me that i was i deserve the respect of not yelling at me inside the car. i thought it was very sweet. But guys should be respectable just like the olden days.

Just walk up to her and don't try any of that small talk you see on T.V, talk to her and tell her your name and maybe even plan a date if she seems like the right person.

Small talk, but don't be overly flirtatious. Girls don't like lines they like normal conversation. Refer to something that is happening around you.
