the head unit has one rca output, I have three amps in the rear. I went and bought a 120V A/C video/audio 5-way splitter and put one of them cigerette lighters in that are DC to AC converters which only put enough juice out to power up a cell phone.
It barely works though probly becuase of the lack of juice going to the splitter. how can I get the one set of RCA(1red 1 white) to plug into three amps(3red 3white)??

Two "Y" cables with one bottom end plugged into the other top end will get you three out.

nicely you have quite a few suggestions. My own determination may well be to apply the pre-amp outputs that are possibly found on your amplifier. particularly, you have your 2 RCA inputs, called pre-amps (as RCA cables carry pre-amplified sign). There could be pre-outs, which particularly serve to allow the sign to pass contained in direction of the amplifier into the pre-amps of the subsequent one utilising a short RCA patch cable. you're able to additionally locate what's called an RCA distribution block, that is basically that. Your 2 cables flow in and you get quite a few outputs. ultimately, as a final motel, you need to apply splitter cables or adapters to interrupt the sign up, yet that is least top-rated technique. Wont look as expert and a few high quality couldbe compromised, tremendously if getting used for mids and highs EDIT: there is virtually no possibility of hearth utilising an RCA splitter. like all wires, you of course dont want them chafing and shorting yet there is not often any capacity dealing with them. additionally, there is not any might desire to interchange the top unit. that's the factor of pre-amp outputs

splitter cables are good for this.... its the cables that have 1 set of rca's at one end.... and double of the amount at the other end.... though you usually cant adjust the levels this way... your av splitter.... needs to be 12v as your cigarette socket is 12v
