Jeff Gordon is a has been. Hes the most overrated driver on the circuit right now. I highly doubt you will see Gordon win another championship. Kurt Busch is even climbing on top of the pole for that one.

In a nutshell, Ryan Newman. I even like him a little bit but he is overrated because of how fast he CAN be at times and where he usually finishes a race or the season for that matter. He is the current most overrated driver. With the resources at his disposal he doesn't have the excuses like someone driving for Petty or the Wood brothers. For the most overrated ever it is Richard Petty. 200 wins means he was the best at cheating in an era where the inspection proccess was nothing compared to now. Look at Petty Enterprises, now that the bulk of the blatant cheating is no longer allowed he can't field a team that can compete. Bobby is a good driver but Kyle needs to concentrate on Victory Junction full time and step down as a driver.

There are always going to be people who pile on the most popular driver at the time so I understand why Jr. has gotten so many votes. Let's face it, many people including myself were Big E. fans and had planned on rooting for Jr. after Sr. retired. We all know how that turned out.
All of these guys are incredible drivers. They've made it to the top of their sport. There are drivers that I like and drivers that I don't care for but I'm not going to take away from what they've accomplished to this point.
You also have to factor in the rides that they have because normally that is the difference between the best. I'm not a Harvick fan but he is one heck of a driver. Till last year though what did he do? - Not much. RCR finally got a decent program going. Put a guy like Dave Blaney in a great car and he'd win some races - no question...
OK as far as most overrated - Jarrett and Waltrip - Toyota will struggle this year even if their engines are more consistent.

No doubt about it. I hate to say this but I think that it's little e. He just can't seem to have the success that he had in the Bush series. He is with drivers that know how to win. I beleive that had he not had the Earnhart name, he would have had a lot less pressure. Also, I think that he is trying to live up to that name that his daddy made famous. I mean, he can't get along with his step mommy nor his pit crew, Yet he remains one of the fans most favorite drivers. It's all in the name.

Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart Dale Jr is also pretty over rated but atleast he dont whine like a little baby
