Not a lot of people can pull off a center part very well. The reason, is that no one's face is perfectly symmetrical (unless you're lucky :) ). If you use a center part, it will draw attention to any imperfections. Side parts look good on anyone I think. Experiment with which side looks better. And don't always make it straight. Try scooping it from the side that it looks good on, and either bring it directly across to the back of your head, or make it a gentle curve that moves out first and then to the other side.

on the 2nd i admire facet areas coz they seem to be slightly extra in style. you could desire to purpose a facet sweep. i do no longer quite techniques yet i think of in the adventure that your centre section is appropriate it sounds such as you tried slightly too difficult. It additionally relies upon on the form of your face, in case you have a rounder formed face then you might desire to purpose a centre section to have a seen sliming of the face and in the adventure that your face is thinner/ extra coronary heart formed then you might desire to purpose a facet sweep to make your face look broader. yet for me, i might bypass with the facet sweep. stable success:)
