No offense to NASCAR fan's, (I'm from NC, so please don't accuse me of being from somewhere that isn't familier with the sport), but the more that I have observed the sport, the more fishy it seems. I realize that awful things have happened (Earnhardt, Adam Petty's unfortunate passing), and am not putting those situations down, but it seems suspicious of who wins at certain places sometime (how many times has Jimmy Johnson won at Lowe's Motor Speedway in his #48 Lowes Monte Carlo?)

NO - it is NOT fixed. But I do notice the NASCAR 'brass' penalize some drivers more than others giving the 'appearance' of favoritism, that I've certainly noticed in the past 10 years.

I've wondered the same thing. Towards the end of his career Richard Petty went a long string of races without a win. Then at the "Firecracker 400" in attendance of then President Ronald Reagan he got win number 201.

NO. It's got a lot to do w/luck...is your car good....how "you" are feeling that day ( some guys race w/illness, broke bones etc.), all sorts of stuff.
They check, check and recheck the cars so that no cheating takes place. Big companies don't want to be associated w/a cheating as it will make them look bad too.... JMHO

I hope not but , it sure does look like it somedays. Mostly Sundays.
I think they only fix the Sunday races. Thank goodness they don't touch the " Sharpie 500 " @ Bristol. Thats my favorite race.

I don't mean to be rude, but do you think they are intentionally crashing cars at that speed? It is not fixed.
