Why on earth do Marlboro Lights burn your throat and taste awful when you get down to the end? B&H silver are the same but Embassy number 1 are fine!!! Please don't tell me how bad smoking is for your health, I already know which is why I am cutting it!

cause fire hot...fire burn skin...OWE OWE OWE!!!

It might be because the lights have more holes punched in the towards the filter letting more oxygen get in...maybe not just a guess. I've been told (but don't quote me on this) the only different between marlboro red and lights is the number of holes in the paper and filter length...any hoo the closer to the filter your cherry is the hotter the gases...though they are still pretty daggum hot either way.

I'm glad to see you're cutting back, also, the chemicals in the different brands that you listed may act differently...

But really...that burning sensation...is more than enough to tell you to not cut back but stop period, it IS burning your throat....you wouldn't cut back on burning your arm would you?

alot of the cigarettes chemicals and nicotine build up the closer you get to the filter end which in turn has you inhaling more concentrated amounts that may irritate your throat and mouth, you could try another brand or (I know its a waste) get the 100's and try not to smoke too far down

TOBACCO SMOKES YOU!!! it is a terrible thing, becuase then youll get all ugly and stuff. youll regret it when you develop permanently stinky breath, yellow teeth...ulcers (stomach, throat), bad vision..the list goes on. for your sake, try your best to stop. smoking is becoming much too casual and common
