The U.S. troops can't pull out; but, they should pull back continuing to occupy some space so that if they ever attack the U.S. in any way we R already there to retaliate.

So, we leave them settle their issue, & if they need our help, we will not give weapons or train anyone so that don't come back to bite us in the as*. However, we will provide the service of being their military & administrate their country for a fee. That means no one will be gaining access to us through false authorities. We will be the security and administrative authority there. The country will still be ran by the county's officails under our military and security defense and administration for a fee.

We R no longer supose to be involved in what is their long time conflick. We will provide services for a fee. This way our own government will also stop taking that expense from where we don't have it. Other countries can such as from the UN and Nato can join the U.S. in providing the military service.

I don't know. But if after all this money and effort to control dwindling oil supplies someone comes up with a viable alternative energy source then it's going to be awfully amusing to see the U.S. bankrupted by it's efforts to control Europe through oil.

For the record the U.S. is not leaving Iraq because it isn't in the interests of the rich to do so. Hey they get even richer off the war and the poor do the fighting so it's really perfect isn't it.

Part of the solution but you can't charge a poor nation. Instead we can reduce the prices of their natural resources toward our nation to aid our economy in exchange for security. Under the UN, we have to respect that nation as independent. The military only knows marshal law therefore we must build up the country like the nations around them to create peace and let the effect of democracy, self-government determine their future, http://www.voteprimous.com

Imagine i claimed your computer was mine, and demanded you let me look at it. So you let me look at it. I say it's mine, and you should give it me. You refuse , so i smash your computer. It wasn't mine. Feeling guilty, i start to try and fix it.

-- that's what's happened --

You're proposing i now walk away, and if you ask me to finish fixing the computer, i charge you. Does this seem fair?

Bear in mind, this was a rough analogy- Iraq wasn't innocent, but the charges leveled against it were false.

The conflict you mention is only occuring because of the U.S lead invasion- you can't expect to invade a country despite being warned not to, and then demand people pay you in order to fund the occupation you need to run.

The UN can stare you in the face and say 'well we told you not to' - America just has to shoulder the debt and responsibility until things are stable. People have to think long term- stability isn't achieved in a month.

You f*cked up their country now you want to charge them a fee for administration? The US should be paying billions of dollars to repair the damage it has caused. Your action has done nothing except to create a power vacuum which has resulted in the predictable civil war. It is goibg to get much worse. I would say that you have been bitten in the @ss and it is going to keep happening until you solve the problem.

According to liberals the solution is cut and run... just like Clinton did against Osama. That sure worked out well on 9/11.
