How can millions of souls burning in Hell for all of enternity possibly be counted as a "win" for Him? - I submit to you that it can't...

I submit to you that it can. God wants us all to be saved, but he does not want to share an eternity in Heaven with disloyal people the same way that you would not invite a thief or a kleptomaniac into your house. If he sends all of those people to Hell, he does win. Some went left, and others stayed right. Those who stayed right stay with him, those who do not spend eternity in Hell. He now shares Heaven only with those who remained loyal, and so he got his wish; God is supposedly grateful.

Think of it this way: You try your best to raise a son or daughter right, but they grow up and become a drug addict and a criminal, despite your wishes that they become successful and live an honest life. Who lost: You, or them?

To answer this interesting question we should first understand this word "WANT". I think that the most common human condition is want.We all want something,no matter how ever much we have, be it money, food, drink, company, fame and so on.
Now we assume that GOD just like man should want something too, all the time, because our minds cannot comprehend a "state" where there is no more "want".
Why do you even assume God wants anything ? Why should God care either way ? As for burning in hell, who told you there are souls burning in hell ?

If we have free will, then you are absolutely right, God can only want and hope and wring his hands over whether we will choose him. And it makes Him loving but sad to change gears at judgement and maintain his own righteousness to where he "has to" put people in Hell. So the defense of this is usually brought down to an offer, where we now lose the wanting and love that God is supposed to have, and now God is a telemarketer. I don't see how anyone can defend this. Arminianism & Pelagianism are pitiful theologies. How they can read through the tone of the Bible and come up with this drivel is beyond me.

God does not want everyone to be saved. He only chose some and everyone He chose will be saved.
He works ALL things according to His will

GOD doesn't lose. I believe that if you live a good life and follow God's commandments you will realize HIS great kingdom. No matter which religion you follow. (Except satanism).

Love is not interested in "winning"

to answer your first question: no.
It is His desire that all be saved - people have to want to.
He doesn't lose. People who don't chose Him do.
You either love God, or you don't.

to carmelite (below): that is a great analogy!

God doesn't force us to do anything , he leaves us to decide what we do , we choose him because we love him , not because he makes us
