I have straight hair and i want my hair to be wavy. I try scrunching it with moose but after like 5 minutes, it would go back to normal. What is a good product to use?

sea water is good, next time you go to the beach, fill a spray bottle with water from the ocean
it gives hair texture that holds styles good, you can add some mousse of somthing too
jon frieda had a good product too, cant remember what it was called

freshly washed hair doesnt hold scrunching too well

Make sure you use some really strong products (some with extra strong hold). I scrunch my hair and it is naturally straight. After I am done, I could fool people in think my hair is naturally wavy. You need to add a lot of product to the hair and use a blow dryer with a diffuser end and blow until your hair is COMPLETELY dry. You have to constantly scrunch the hair while you are drying. If it looks like it is starting to straighten out, add more product. If you do it right, you shouldn't have a crunchy feel at the end either. Spray gels and mouse work pretty well for me. Also, when you shower, make sure you don't use a conditioner that weighs your hair down. The more conditioner you use, the flatter your hair will be.

Scrunching works if you have slightly wavy hair at least--then--when you scrunch it and blow dry it it gets curlier--but if you ahve straight hair it is probably not going to work--or not as well--you could put your hair in curlers and then try to scrunch it up a bit--

my sister used to have the same problem. she started applying gel and hairspray when she got out of the shower (she would towel dry it first). then, she would turn her head upside down, scrunch her hair, and put a clip to hold it in place. she did this to all of her hair, and it only took from 3-5 big clips. then, she would just let her hair air dry, or use a blow dryer. when you take the clips out, turn your head upside down, and spray hairspray all over. this should work.....good luck!

Yes, it really does work if you use Aussie Sprunch spray - strong hold, it is the only product that works for me and I have tried everything. Plus it smells wonderful.

Paul Mitchell's Foaming Pommade works wonders...you should use it when your hair is wet.

it only works if you already got wavy or curly hair.
