Ok so I have been dating a really nice guy and he goes to my school but he never acts the same around me when he is with his friends. He says hi and smiles but he dosen't talk much and kinda brushes me off. but outside of school he loves to talk to me we even talk on the phone for 4hrs at a time. I would like to hang out with him at school but I don't want to bother him when he is with his friends. what should I do?

Its a guy thing. They don't want to look "soft" in front of their friends. Its kinda like in the movie "grease" when Sandy gets reunited with Danny Zucco for the first time since the summer. He is excited to see her at first, then reminds himself he is with his friends and turns on the macho attitude.

I think most guys do that. I have a friend that does that to me. He isn't very friendly towards me when he's w/ the other guys. Idk, maybe he's afraid that they will make fun of him. I ignore it b/c we are just friends but I can def see how it would bother you. Talk to him, what can it hurt?

wHeN guys act like that they are hidding something or just to imature for a relationship...but the best thing you could do is when you are the phone ask him...be honest with him...

Maybe theres another girl he likes and he doesn't want her to see you with him because he still likes her. Or he is cheating on you.
