a beat up plastic big wheel. seriously, for 150 you might as well buy a seat to sit on while you ponder how you'll afford the rest of the bike.

Sadly, there are not very many. You could go to one of the better sporting goods stores and maybe find something reasonable. HOWEVER, if you don't do your own repairs and general maintenance, that will be a big issue when problems occur(unless that sporting goods store has a bike repair department). That said, the only brand that I think has a fighting chance is Mongoose. I have one of their mountain bikes and it has been pretty good so far.

Unfortunatly, you won't get much for $150.00. That price range is reserved for the Wal-Marts and Targets and other big box stores. And those bikes are usually junk. You'd be better off saving your money and getting something decent at a real bike shop.
