how can u tell if a girl likes you like you do?

there's this girl in my social studies class and she told me im cute... she was the fisrt person to give me regards like that and i appreciated it.(even my mom never told me im cute she always say im ok)

im in grade 9 so that means um im 14...

Well you have to know what kind of person she is. Is she's very outgoing to everyone then see if she tries to walk with you, sit near you, ask for hmwk help, laughs at your jokes, etc. With this kind of girl its pretty hard b/c they could just be nice to everyone but if she does these things then she just might.

If she's more the quiet type (like myself) don't expect her to rush over to your locker and be flirty. It probably took all of her nerve just to tell you that. So you might have to go up to her and just be friendly to find out. She might get quiet (loss of words) but don't think she hates you. She might get embarrassed too.

Also, you have to think about its context. Was it an "Omg, ___(name)____, you're just too cute, I love ya!" when you mispronounced a word or was in an " I think you're really cute"

Basically, all I'm saying is that you should pretty much observe her and see how shes like with other guys. And if you want to know, don't wait for her....she might not come. Just a simple hi could work.
