No way! I know a few people who have killed themselves, and the effect on those left behind is more than you can ever even imagine. Even if I were that bored I would never do that to my family or friends.
.....and I guess if I were that bored I'd want to take a look at myself and find out what I was doing with my time and why I was wasting my life. I mean, get a hobby. Do some volunteer work. Start a family. Do SOMETHING!

I have no fear of death and life bores me sometimes and the reason I don't top myself is that not only is life important, I also believe in life after death so what's the point if I'm going to live either way, so I go out and find myself something to do. boredom doesn't last long.

Personally, No fear of death here and whilst I have no 'moral' argument against suicide, I pretty sure I'll do it if terminally ill (or in a vegative state my family know my wishes). I know lots of people have problems with the thought of euthanasia - I just think its a release. I'd have a pet put out of constant pain and illness if nothing more could be done and they were losing the quality of life. To me its kinder than letting someone or a pet suffer a moment longer than they have to.

When you admit you are bored, you are really saying you are suffering from ignorance, you need knowledge...
if you are cowardly about living, & discovering new things, then yeh, accept there is nothing out there that is stimulating & fun, & give in to the overwhelming feelings of apathy.
But realise as you are doing that, that you drowning in despair.
I sincerely hope that when i die, I depart this world with a happy smile - because I believe if I don't, I'll have to come back again & go through the same experinces again until I manage that...
Ugh, how I hate Apathy!! You should "fight" apathy, not LIFE!

No. I figure, death could be really really boring. And we're all going to die anyway so what's the point of hurrying it? Surely it's far easier to make this life interesting than to commit suicide.

Boredom you can do something about but excessive pain and terminal illness is different. I intend to end my life if it ever gets unbearable and will be setting up a living will soon to clarify my wishes to my family.
Why would anyone fear death unless it comes too soon?

No, because every day is different. Maybe I'm bored today, but we don't know what tomorrow will bring. That's why life is an adventure.
