Is there such a thing as cat boogers???

Question

My cat has black stuff inside her nose! It's easily removed gently by hand. It's as if she has cat boogers! Is there such a thing?? If not, what could it be??

LOL, yes cats can get "boogers".
If she sneezing, then boogers are a probability. (not all sneezing is reason for concern BTW)
She could also just be breathing in dust and the nose's natural dampness is turning it into lumps.
She also could be putting her nose in her food and ti is sticking to her nose. One of the (foster) kittens I had here would put his nose right in the food and I had to clean his face everyday. He learnt though not to do it, so when he went back to the shelter for adoption his white nose stayed clean.

If she doesn't seem to be ill or sneezing really wet sneezes, then it shouldn't be anything to worry about.

Yes there is such thing as cat boogers. Cat's produce these boogers just as humans do. Don't worry about it.

Yup, those are cat boogers. Mine has them too. I think it's a combination of dust from kitty litter, lint, and dust from the air. Her little nose is doing the same thing ours does! She'll eventually get them out herself while grooming, or you can remove them for her (my cat usually appreciates it when I do it).

I think it's possible for cats to have boogers. They have mucous membranes just like us so it would make sense for that to happen.

This is very common. You need to hold the cat's head under water for about 20 minutes. That should get rid of the boogers.
