I'm just not going there. For years, my wife talked about being sole mates (at least that is what I thought she said). So last year, I made a big deal about buying both of us Odor Eaters for Valentine's Day. That gift did not go over very well.
Now she talks about us being kindred spirits. Does this mean I have to get both of us matching costumes for Halloween?

I think emotional. I try to avoid religion, but I am a spiritual person. Still, I am very close to some who are not spiritual at all. It's the emotional connection that makes me feel connected to someone else. A soul mate could be both - spiritual and emotional, but I think I could be soul mates with someone based on the emotional alone; not with the spiritual alone (I've tried that - didn't work.)

I think spiritual-- i think it involves the emotions because there is a relationship between two emotional people, but I think the soul connection is a spiritual one.
Have you read books by Thomas Moore?

There are over 6 billion people on our planet. to anticipate that there is in hardship-free words one you've an priceless relationship with is slightly naive. once you're fortunate, you nonetheless discover the guy eye-catching after the honeymoon era, and something else is confirm to save that going. A "soul mate" is an excellent idea, yet i do not imagine it really is in any respect lifelike.

It's more of the emotional support people crave when they are looking for a soul mate.

Spiritual, I don't believe in God but I believe in a soul so I'd make it spiritual. Emotional on one level though and spiritual on another, put everything where it belongs.

The words "Soul Mate" comes from pop culture in the past century. This is not backed scripturally. I would say emotional.
