He is only 35 and has 2 kids and a small business of his own. He is withdrawing into him self and his one and only hobbie. We hardly talk and close to never have sex anymore. I want him to see a Doctor, for a physical but, he refuses. Anybody have any ideas?

I hate to suggest this, but what are the chances he's having an affair? If he's distant, no sex and he won't go to the doctor. I've seen that before and after months of asking my husband what was wrong with no response he took off for a life with less responsibilities. I actually felt sorry for him until I got mad. He left when I was 7 months pregnant with our 2nd child. Becareful and look out for yourself. Does his hobby happen to be away from the house where you can't keep an eye on him?

Are you sure that he is not seeing someone else on the side? The symptoms that you are describing sound like a man that is cheating...no sex, withdrawing, etc. Also, is it possible that the business is having financial problems and he is stressed or depressed?

Just be there and be prepared for the worst. My dad went thru a mid life crisis when he hit 42, he left his wife and kids struggling with the bills. Try tricking him into therepy.

try to make him feel young and sexy, do soemthing completely out of character that will make him sweat. that may be what he needs.

threaten him to get treatment or you will leave him, then follow through. you cant force him to change if he doesn't want to though
