Could be cold feet, or it could be your hearts way of telling you that maybe you're really not in love with this person.
Just because you've been together 5 years, doesn't mean he's the one for you. Relationships are ways of getting to know people. Not every one works out. People also change a lot over time, and you could have grown apart, which could be a reason for you wandering towards another man. I would say that if you have tendancies to see your friend as more than a friend, then maybe you aren't really happy with your current man.
Try to be honest with yourself on this. Really ask if you are fooling around with another guy because you really like this other person, or because you've just lost interest in your boyfriend from being together for 5 years...because the flame can tend to die after awhile.
The worst thing you can do is keep quiet about it though. Honesty is the only way you will be able to really know how you feel. I suggest telling your boyfriend about this, and how you are feeling. If you've been together for 5 years then he should understand, obviously he probably knows you well...and could help you sort out your confusions. Confide in him, and use him as a resource for advice. Hopefully you have enough trust between you two to be honest and understanding. He shouldn't get upset if you tell him how you truly feel. It's best for both of you. You don't want to move away and then realize a few months later that it wasn't what you really wanted.

I would opt for cold feet. Try and remember why you like your boyfriend and why you decided to move with him in the first place. You sound terrified. Remember it isn't irreversible and you can get out if it doesn't work. However, you will find that, like any relationship, the first year together can be tough. Stick it out for a good couple of years and see how you go.

God I'd DIE if I found out my girlfriend of 5 years kissed another guy. Think about what you're doing, and who you're hurting. If you love your bf, stop seeing the other guy.
Although I'm quite a jealous person so that could be influencing my advice...
