go to this web page and click on save the date and they have several ideas on destination weddings and special requests. my wedding date is on July 7 07 and I found really neat 07-07-07 lucky in love save the date cards.

Is it necessary to have save the date cards? To me its a tad tacky. If you get your invitations out in time..that should be plenty of time. To me its just one more thing that the invitation companies came up with to sell more products. Send out your invitations and be done with it..don't waste your money.

I just received one and loved it. It was a picture of the couple. She was riding piggy back. At the bottom it had the date and said...."he asked, and she said YES".
