Your band should be on your council tax bill. Regarding other properties in the vicinity I am not sure if your local Revenues Office at your district council would give out this information, but worth a try.

Go to your local council offices & ask them. They have all the information for houses in the local area as its them the council tax is payed to.They should give this information for any street/houses in their area.I cant think of any reason why this info wont be available to the general public.Go to your council & they'l tell you what you want to know or tell you who to ask.

It will be on your notification which should turn up around the middle of March.
If the properties near you are similar in size and value, they should all be in the same band.
Or you could phone the local council tax office and ask them.

Contact the local council, most of what they do is related to collecting it or spending it.
