Sounds like a "yes" to me. She also has to have lived with you all year (all 365 days), be a US citizen or legal resident, and she can't file on her own (or file a joint return with her hubby).

She costs more than $13,000 to keep? Be careful - sounds like you are trying to push the limit. Be prepared to show that you truly provide that much of her care.

Yes, you can. She qualifies as a dependent. Also, if you are single you can file as head of household in addition to claiming her as a dependent.

Yes, you can. She does NOT need to live with you, contrary to what another poster said.
