Your friends are right. Cold weather makes everyone's hair staticy. Don't worry about it. In the morning, what I do, is wet my hands and just very gently put some water on the top of your hair where it is staticy. This will tame the static.

Yes, fabric softener sheets work, so does conditioner! In the morning, squeeze out a bit maybe the size of a dime, then run it evenly through your hair. Not only does it have your hair under control and not staticy, it also makes your hair smell nice and conditions and protects it. It works wonders :]

some ppl get staticy hair in cold weather and some in hot and some all the time. rub a little bit of gel on your hands and smooth it down but not too much as it can make it look greasy. also try not to brush it too much. hope i helped xxx

I know how you feel, my hair is the same. It could be because it is winter, but it is still annoying! Someone once told me to rub a dryer sheet on your hair...and it works. The only problem is if you do it too much it will make your hair oily. So take a sheet and lightly rub it over your hair and your static will be tamed. Also try not to touch your hair much because it could make it worse. Good luck!
