I recently made mulligatawny soup a la the soup nazi from Seinfeld. It was UNBELIEVABLE! I gave some to my mother and SHE loved it. My husband loved it and my 2 year old even ate some. Here is the link: BUT you do not need all that water - I would use 6 cups water and 6 cups stock. YUM!

I think it has to be this - was delicious, I made it for Burns night :

Cranachan

Ingredients

porridge oats
vegan whipped cream
raspberries
agave nectar or maple syrup

Add an equal amount of oats to agave nectar and mix. Spread on greaseproof paper and bake in a 200 degree oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Leave to cool. Use 50g oats and toast in a non stick pan until it browns and leave to cool.

Take 1 tablespoon of toasted oats and mix with 3 tablespoons of cream and 6 raspberries. Mix thoroughly squashing the raspberries into the mixture. Decorate with pieces of the oaty biscuit, raspberries and agave nectar.

Dinner last night:

Steak rollups (thin sliced steak, rolled w/ bacon, spinach + cheese) then skewered + grilled to perfection, served with home-made potato chips (topped w/ kosher salt, pepper, parmesean cheese+ a dash of truffle oil) and a nice Ceasar salad with
a bottle of Bass ale to wash it down. My wife is a great cook !

Simple grilled chicken salad with black olives, feta cheese and almonds. The perfect glass of pinot grigio and a big big fudge brownie for dessert.

Plus I had just run 5 miles and was starving so it tasted extra extra good.

Fruit and Yogurt parfait! You put a bottem layer of diced fruit, such as strawberries and blueberries, at the bottem, a layer of yogurt, a layer of cereal such as honey nut cheerios or special K, another layer of yogurt, and one more layer of fruit such as half a banana or diced apples/berries. It's delicious! Also, you can add almonds, nuts, or raisens.
