There are many on-line support groups.
Start here
http://www.arthritis.org/conditions/DiseaseCenter/RA/
or do a Yahoo search on RA.
There is a LOT of anecdotal evidence that various diets improve the symptoms of arthritis. Way too many to go into here.
Keep following links until you have found a group you like. It's offer good information and some emotional support.
My wife has AS and we're experimenting with different diets limiting starches and carbos. So far we've seen some effect but haven't reached a conclusion yet.
Some people report complete remission through diet.
Good luck

Imagine for a moment your arthritis completely vanishing right now.
If, in a moment, your pain and stiffness melted away. And your joints all of a sudden functioned like a well-oiled machine.
Like a magic wand was waived, you'd be able to jump up from your chair and run around the room like a kid.
And imagine that you'd never have to suffer as much as a pinch of arthritis stiffness or pain ever again.
I know this sounds impossible right now, but bear with me, because sometimes miracles happen.
It was a gift from a woman on the other side of the world. From the kindness of her heart, she took pity on my suffering and taught me how to completely reverse my arthritis.
Today, I want to do the same for you!

Don't know about cherries. My mother had "sudden, severe" RA and was in a nursing home (later got out). We asked her rheumatologist whether RA had any relationship to foods/allergy; he said sometimes made worse by pork and corn, so I asked her to find a doctor who would test her for allergies. He did a RAST test (blood test) that determined her allergies. Corn (corn bread, hush puppies, fried fish rolled in cornmeal, corn on the cob while she was visiting out of state) and Beef were among the allergens he found. When she left them alone, her hands were no longer sore, and she could hold her arms straight over her head with no pain. She said, "I haven't been able to do this for years!" Might help you to ask for that test. Good Luck!

don't get confused, cherry juice and cherry drink. the drink is cheap, but it won't help. juice is expensive, and hard to find, in health food stores. it goes for around $5-$10 a bottle. the juice is supposed to help ease the pain of gout attacks, and gout is a form of arthritis. it might help you and it might not.
