'Todos los ríos regresan a su cauce'
All rivers go back to their former path ('cauce'= river bed)

Never heard this expression but I would understand it like this: If you are good by nature, despite you make something wrong, you'll finally realize it was a mistake and return to your old way of being.

It is cauces with a "c" = bed (of watercourse), channel, ditch

In english it would say "All of the rivers return to their causes"

"All rivers return to their channels" Cauces mean channels..
