I am looking for some ways I can raise money for my freinds funeral. Me and my other freinds are trying to find good ways to help her parents pay for the funeral costs. Any ideas, fundraisers, ect? It would be really nice to get some ideas.

Car washes. Ask if you can leave cans in local stores put a little note on the can asking why you are collecting money. Have a bake sale. You could also have a clothing drive. Have people from the community bring in old clothes shoes etc.. and sell them for like a buck a bag in your gym! They do that around here and the turn out is really good. You could also talk to a guidance councilor and ask if she has any ideas and she may be able to talk to the school and see what Else you could do!

Talk with your school's faculty and see if they would agree to help you with this idea. This has worked for us when we needed to do a fundraiser quickly and cheaply. Teachers and the principal can volunteer to be targets in a pie throwing booth in your school's parking lot. You may even be able to get your local grocery store to donate some cheap whipped cream and tin pie plates. Students, and perhaps some parents, will want to pay for the chance to throw a pie at a teacher. We've done ours for as low as $2 per "pie" or 3 for $5 and as high as $5 per pie. It's for a good cause and it'll be a fun way to remember your friend's life and the joy they brought the whole school.

You can always get a part time Job. Also tell the parents to check with local churches and the Red Cross.
Good Luck.

Car washes always work. Try just carrying around a container with a pic of your friend and ask for donations for the funeral

Go to your friends church and ask if you could hold a sing along of your friends favorite songs, and all proceeds go to the funeral expenses, if you can't do that arrange a sponsored swim or walk or what about something of which she liked

You can sell these really cool pencils called Smencils. They are really cool, scented pencils. They're $1 each, and go fast. I bought a bucket (I think a bucket has 100 or so) of them and sold them all in less than 5 minutes.
