I am 16 years old and have never had a girlfriend. I have really had any female friends and don't know any girls.This is mainly due to the fact that i go to a boys school. I am far from unpoular and get along with everybody but girls just never seem to notice me. I often try to catch the eye of a girl that gets on my bus but she never seems to notice me. I am really insecure about my appearance as i have quite a large nose. So am nervous about talking to girls. It has got so bad that i am beginning to become depressed and feel like their is something wrong with me. Please give me some advice as i don't know what to do. Do girls like it when you smile at them in the street or do they think it is weird? What can i do to attract girls before i speak to them. Thanks In Advance.

Very difficult to get noticed only with smiling on the street or watch somebody on the bus... have to talk and have to know each other but your "big nose" can be sex appeal more than handicap... do not worry you are not late at all you will continue your studies in the university among girls and they will notice you if you have enough self confidence, and I am sure, you can have because you seems to be an intelligent guy. Well, a lot of times, girls notice you, but they don't act like they do because that wouldn't be cool. As for smiling at girls on the street, I don't think they would think it's really weird or anything, maybe not a big toothy smile, but instead just kinda turn up the corners of your mouth to say "Hey, you're kinda cute." Don't be nervous when talking to girls. Most of the time, they are just as nervous as you. Hope this helps! =~)

there is absolutely nothing wrong with you at all. you are only 16 and still plenty of time left for girls. as for the girl on the bus, she may be just as shy as you are so maybe you should spark a convo, maybe thats what she is waiting for. maybe you could find a book on good ice breakers? to smile at a girl on the street is so sweet...it's not weird at all. as long as it's not like you are trying to undress her with your eyes.
every jar has a lid... it helps not to look, the harder you look the least likely you are to find it. be patient and it will come to you!

in time there will be someone out there for you. dont give up. put yourself out there and make yourself known to other girls. be a very sweet guy and remember to put her first instead of always thinking of you. not sayin that you are that person. just sayin that be there for her if she is sad or if her mood changes. be very cautious of her feelings. one day when you find her just be there for her enough that she can blab about you to her friends.
