SAve a dog from an animal shelter

Without doubt a mongrel.
I have had 4 mongrels, all had a bit of Collie somewhere down the line.
All were saved from Rspca or council stray dog pounds. They all turned out to be fantastic dogs , treated with love and kindness they flourished.
They turned out to be the most loyal of friends .One of these mongrels is at the moment sitting beside me giving me her paw to hold. She had been in the dog pound for 15 days after being picked up from the street . She was on borrowed time and was due to be put to sleep .. She has turned out to be my loyal friend and is a lovely natured dog.

i think u should get a rot they r loving and protective of their owner if u treat them right they will love u forever,but u have to watch out for rot because if someone threatens u they will warn them then try to bite. and if u have kids u should train them well so Ur kids can take their food, put hand in front of their face and the rot doesn't get mad but they have to be trained not even by a pro u can all by Ur self, it's easy, but they go for a good price, and sometimes r stolen, so make sUre no one can get into where Ur dog is it hurt bad when ur dog is stolen. i would know.

Choose one that will get along with a cat. I figured you had a cat. You can look up dog breeds online to choose the right one for you.

It depends on the size you want, if you want a large dog: get a golden retriever, or if you want a relatively small dog: get a bichon frise

A Chi or a Yorkshire terrier For a small one.
A Med one would be a Miniture poodle

It matters what kind of dog do u like. It helps more if u get it 4rm the pet shop so they wont go to sleep or (kill them):(

I THINK YOU SHOULD GET A LAB THEY ARE VERY PROTECTIVE. I HAVE TO LABS RIGHT NOW THEY ARE SWEET THEY LOVE TO SWIM AND THEY LOVE TO HUNT THEY ARE THE BEST DOGS EVER!!!!!!!
