I need good ideas from people that know technology !!!
I just started a Voluntary Organization with a goal to Engineer, Build & Provide Assistance Devices to Seniors that will allow them to stay in their Current Homes for an additional 10 to 20 years.
What are your ideas ?
I bet you have seen older people and have something that you think would help them.
Even if it is ROBOTIC or a fantasy item that can not be made yet... any idea will help move us forward to making them into real items to help older people.

E-i-i-i-i-i-y! You do ask a question that is right up my alley. ASSISTIVE ROBOTICS DEVICES are still in the forefront of Y2k-technology. Many research universities are at the forefront of this expanding science.
The scope of options is unlimited. Consider any action or mobility concern from the perspective of How To Make It Easier. Issues to consider are a SCHEDULER / TIME-COMMAND of everyday activities (including medical matters; prescriptions; dosage and administering schedules.) These can be programmed by the physicians and then administered by the patient and control the schedule without a catch.
Or..... a DATA RETRIEVAL SYSTEM to pick up the postal mail from the mailbox and deliver it directly to the person...... <-This will involve extensive mechanical robotics to control these varied options (postal sizes, packages, etc.)
