In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Many have jumped to unrational conclusions, asserting that only because of the fact they cursed and used harsh words at somebody else or because of the fact they hated God for a together as, that's blaspheming. that's no longer. verify your heart, a individual can nonetheless certainly determine what they have mentioned and executed. Did you witness God appearing some miracle and then supply glory to the devin quite? Did you seem up at heaven and get in touch with God, the devil, once you recognize he isn't? people who do such issues have a real hard heart and could never soften sufficient to have the flexibility to even have faith in the affection of God. I assume you are referring to what Jesus meant when He was referring to the unpardonable sin of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. This is something Jesus said in response to an assertion by His adversaries that He ws casting out demons by the power of Satan. There is a passage in the Prophet Isaiah that says: "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter." (Isaiah 5:20)
That is basically what Jesus' enemies where doing - attributing the good He was doing to the Evil One.
I believe the Holy Spirit of God is the Person of the Godhead who communicates and testifies directly to the human spirit, or conscience if you will, the truthfulness or falsehood of the things we hear and observe. He testifies that something is either essentially good, and from God; or evil and from a source other than God. Jesus said about the Holy Spirit that "He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you." and, "He will bear witness of Me." (John 14:26; 15:26)
He said the Holy Spirit would convict, or convince the world of 3 things; sin, righteousness and judgment. (John 16:7-15)
He does this several ways; chiefly I think by testifying to a hearer to the truth of an anointed message preached by a servant of God; but also by testifying to the truthfulness of the written word of God, or an anointed written message by a servant of God; or by appealing directly to the conscience of the righteousness, or wrongfulness of a person's conduct. He becomes therefore tha last line of assistance to the human heart to turn away from evil and embrace the good. To deny or refuse or resist Him, is therefore to refuse the final assistance of God to turn away from the evil that will eventuate in the sinner's destruction, if continued in. If we treat God's help through the Holy Spirit as an evil thing, there is nothing else in the world that can turn us away from sin and its damning consequences.

God has given us each the ability to distinguish between His works and that of satan. Those who give glory to Satan's works serve him. Those who give Glory to God's Works serve Our Father.

This is a sin against the Holy Spirit and cannot be forgiven, as it accuses Him of lying.
