Yes. Lots of organisms eat 'em, like bats and birds. There are plenty or fish that eat the larvae in the water. They are an important part of a very complicated food web.

benefit of the mosquitoes is simple. work for people to do. others wise they are only good for a meal for other bugs.

Ha ha, I've wondered this many times after I've been bitten by one.
They are a good food source for many fish, amphibians, and other insects, though. Sorry, I wish we could wipe them out!
