when should i ask a girl to prom. its sometime in the middle of may and i already know who im going to ask, but dont want to ask too early and sound desperate, but dont want to lose out! any help would be apreciated

The start of April would be good. Or just wait until the next time the topic of prom comes up in group conversation, and then casually ask the group if they have any idea who they want to go with. When it's your turn you can look straight at the girl and say, "Yeah, I want to go with (name), because she's such a hot dancer/dresser/etc!" She'll probably be flattered.

i think you should first get to know the girl better than just right away asking her out prom. Because just like i'm a girl i would feel kind of shy at first if a guy ask me to prom and I wouldn't know what to response back since i really wouldn't know what kind of guy you are. So my advice to you is to start talking to her and see if she's interested in you. Then if you see she's interested ask her to prom. Good Luck! :D

I'd say now buddy. Everyone knows prom is coming up anyway, you might want to take your chances and wait till the beggining of next month though. Good luck and have the best prom ever!!!

you should ask her as soon as possible, because her calendar might get filled up really quickly, make it a group thing maybe you have friends in common, so its less nerve racking for you.
