Do you believe tattoos are anti biblical?

I know it says your body is the temple of God but who says tattos actually harm the body and what is up with the many christians with tattos especially christian rock groups?

No body says that they are bad for your body, only that if you get an infection or even ink poisoning then it can be harmful to you..I have quite a few tatts myself and have never had a single problem with any of them,

I think that if people scorn you for having them, then thay are not worth bothering with.. Tattoos have been worn by many a tribe, in and for religion...They are a status symbol for certain tribes..It tells a story of that person and the ancestors......Those who do not like them should maybe sit and read the culture book instead of the bloody bible and stop going on about tatts. They will be around alot longer than man..

This verse: Leviticus 19:28 is always used incorrectly. That is the Old Covenant, The Old Testament Mosaic Law. We don't have to follow it because now we're following the New Covenant since Jesus came.

There's nothing wrong with tattoos. They can be a way to glorify God. It's funny that some Christians aren't cool with tattoos, but they don't care about ear piercings! LMAO

the Isrealites were told not to make marks in their flesh to commemorate the dead. This could refer to tattooing or branding but that's the only time that I know of it being mentioned in scripture. I haven't studied this particular subject, but I would think a Christian would not want to have any satanic symbols on their bodies, so I'd be careful of that.

People who think tatooing is anti biblical also think that sex is anti biblical too!
How can sex be a sin if you think that God gave you your sexual organs! you came about from sex does that make you a sin?

If you want to decorate your body do it, I don't see how a mystical magical imagined being can do you for it.

It is only fanatical christians, the same as fanatical muslims who think this is anti biblical!

yer I think that they are anti-biblical. if it says in the bible not to have a tatoo, then its kinda wrong! but i also think that that is kinda a bit traditional! But as long as your happy and have a relationship with jesus, then its your choice. basically i think you should stay clear of it. thats what God wants. but anyway, i think there kinda ugly anywho!
