Of course you can. Your question makes me very sad. People shouldn't have to deal with this constant invasion of privacy and erosion of our rights caused by mindless fear. First it's nail clippers and now it's liquids. We can only guess how the people took over the planes, but we are fairly certain that no one ever used any liquid explosives on a plane. Just because it's possible is no reason to inconvenience so many. Stand up and stop taking it people! And this poor girl is so scared to break the rules that she can't even imagine what they are because they make no common sense, so she has to ask us. It's astounding!

Yes cameras are allowed in Israel. Israel has a large tourist trade They love Tourist with cameras. And if you forget your camera there are plenty of places you can buy one at a reasonable price in Israel.
Also you had better take plenty of memory chips as well, because one chip is not going to hold anywhere near all the pictures you will be taking.

Irsrael is the only relatively free democracy in the region...it's not behind the iron curtain.

Yes, you can take a camera. You can even take a GSM cell phone or a cell phone camera. You can take a multitude of things.

Just keep your eyes open for wild-eyed sweating men with overly bulky jackets that seem to be bulging around the middle.
