not a decorator, but someone that can come in and give me tips on saving space and what organizer type things I need... what is their job title?

They are just called Professional Organizers, there are some that do interior decorating as well, but most only deal with organizing. There are Professional Organizers who specialize in the home, others in office and business organization. There are some that do both. Their fees vary according to the region you live on and their expertise. More and more people are using them. We had one come in when I worked as Administrative Assistant to the Principal at a private school. We hired her to organize the teachers workroom in a way where it was functional to everyone. It was great, no more teachers rooting through things to find them and not putting things back. This way everyone knew where to find things and where to return them. It was a simple system that even parental volunteers could follow without being instructed.

Check out a Container Store near you - they are the best overall organizers of everything! But all in all, these "organizers" are really making big bucks from people like you. Get a simpler life and find a good library with great books on organizing yourself.
