Yes you can. Assuming that your only income was from your job and you got a W-2 for it, if anything was withheld for federal income tax, file a 1040-EZ and you'll get it all back. Be sure to check the box that says you can be claimed as a dependent.
If nothing was withheld, then there's no advantage to you to file a return, and you are not required to, again assuming that was all W-2 income.

Your father is going to claim you as a dependent on his return assuming you are under 24 years old. If you had taxes withheld from your salary you can file a dependent return which affects your standard deduction. You can't take the full standard deduction since your father will take it. You also cant take your personal exemption. Refer to IRS Pub 17 for more info.

Yes, you aren't required to, but you can, however if your parents are claiming you as a dependant (most likely are) than you need to check the box on the 1040 that says, can someone else claim you as a dependant.

get Turbo Tax. Is your father claiming you as a dependent? If yes, don't claim yourself. If he can, he should since it probably means much more to him
