I’m 14 and this summer I went on a 4 day summer camping trip. There I met this girl my age, and we got along really, really well. After spending 4 days with her I got to know her and I grew fond of her and I think she did the same to me. After the trip we said our good byes and off we went, are separate ways. I’m going to go again next year a so is she. I haven’t stopped thinking about her since last summer, am I over reacting over this? And if I do see her next year, should I tell her how I feel? If so, how should tell her? She lives out of state so I lost contact with her. I never think about girls this way but she’s...deferent. Thanks for your time.

Also note. This may sound...immature but I’ve been asked out by older girls before. One was a 19 year old...who judged me by my attitude, not by my age. A lot of people are surprised when I tell them I’m only 14.

Long distance relationships rarely work..plus you're a little too young to know how you really feel no offense but I remember this age and your emotions are going crazy. Plus you're gonna feel totally messed up and lonely once you tell her and you can't see her again for another year. Bad idea. If anything keep in touch and keep the friendship going but I wouldn't say anything to her about liking her.

Yeah tell her... She might be thinking about you like the way you think of her?... Just promise to be yourself... Have fun and a safe time!

if you still feel that way then, sure you should tell her. but please don't spend the next year "waiting" for her...if someone else comes along that interests you feel free to explore that as well!
