You just have to realize that you have to do it. Like right now I'm going home in the hopes of working out. So, I'm going to go home and the first thing I'm going to do is get into my workout duds and just go do it. So just sit yourself down and open that book and start reading and it will be over before you know it.

How about writting something down: example:

Situation.
-------------
I'm not studying but waching tv.

Thoughts
------------
I'm thinking: This is a cool tv. show. I'm wondering if I'm going to pass the exam. I'm thinking I will sudy at the last minute. There will be enough time.

Feelings
-----------
Not feeling too relaxed. A little worried about school.

Action.
--------
I just keep watching tv. Occasionally I glance at a page of my book.

Feelings you wish you had
------------------------------------------
happy, satisfied, in control

Actions you wish you'd take
------------------------------------
Studying for 3 hours a night and then watching tv for the rest.

Alternative thoughts
--------------------------
I'm watching tv to escape studying
If I just start I will then get into it. (starting is difficuilt but later it will be easier.)
I want to get a good job later - so studying is important
