I've been drinking a lot of caffeine lately so I haven't had a migraine in months. This morning, I had a migraine bad enough to keep me from being able to do anything for 20-30 minutes. Is there a way to make the initial migraine go by faster? I missed Spanish class this morning and I don't want it to happen again.

I hope you have had your inner ear checked for infection, the roaring and dizziness can be several different things. I was finally diagnoised with Meniere's Syndrome in 2000 after going through years of tests on my stomach to try to find out why I would have these symptoms along with throwing up and finally passing out. I've had surgery on both my ears and still have the roaring, ringing, all kinds of sounds and dizzy 24 hrs. a day, I have no control of my balance at all. I hope you will see an ENT about this and I hope you don't have what I do. It's no fun. Good Luck!

My migraines used to make me really dizzy, but only if they were the ones that were right behind my eyes or if I got them at the same time as a cold. My doctor told me that it was possible that there was too much pressure in my head when my nose and ears were plugged as well... didn't seem to make a ton of sense to me, but he was right.

try to breath into your hand and close your eyes...that usually works for me. Also you could talk to your docter to get some demerol shots around your house.
