Drink plenty of water to refresh your body

As some have said it is important to keep properly hydrated. Some would say at least 2 litres of fresh, clean water a day preferably from untainted mountain spring sources (something like Volvic, Evian or Highland Spring are good). Others suggest even more water than this daily - you need to build up your intake and you will eventually stop wanting to 'go to the loo' every 5 minutes (takes about 3 weeks -- if you keep the increasing intake steadily)...but don't drink it any faster than about a 7-10ounces an hour as it just passes through without benefit.

You also need to consider your skin regime. If you are still using chemical based skin care you should think this over. You can now get certified organic skin care which will ensure no harmful chemicals that could actually cause long term health issues are present. Read more at http://www.saferalternative.com -- You should ideally follow an cleansing, toning, hydrating program (facial spa) on a regular basis. Remove toxins from your pores as thoroughly as possible using natural clay mud to suit your skin type -- see the superb mineral muds that the site above features they are great for deep cleansing and one jar of mud lasts for loads of applications.

Don't even think about sunbeds - and although you need to keep hydrated and mositurised as yet almost all sunblocks with any 'power' to stop harmful sun rays contain at least some chemicals -- The best answer is to avoid direct sunlight at peak day times and sunniest times of year. Sunlight dries, burns and ages your skin...although you need some exposure for healthy Vitamin D levels whenever you can try to make this at gentler times of day and avoid too much direct sun on your face in particular. Just avoid the peak times and 'shadebathe' from 11am-3pm...if on vacation.

Finally a REAL complexion transforming action you can take is by adopting an 'alkalizing' diet. Plenty of green vegetables (the greener the better), little if any meats, no sugary foods, no pop (especially no diet drinks/low sugar/low calorie with sweeteners)...This along with the water consumption will leave you with a fresh, glowing smooth complexion.

It may take a few months but the results are amazing.

First of all, the obvious one is to drink a lot of fresh water to re-hydrate your skin and flush out toxins. Try to keep away from smoky atmospheres as these will clog your pores and cause an uneven skin-tone. Apply a calming moisturiser such as ones from the garnier or nivea range and maybe try an exfoliating facial scrub such as the St Ives one, which is excellent for sensitive skin. Try not to touch the skin on yuor face as you will just transfer dirt there. Also try to avoid stressful situations as hormonal fluctuations (even in guys!) can affect the complexion. Exercise always helps to clear my skin, especially when I'm stressed!

My skin is extremely sensitive to my diet. If I eat healthy, my skin looks great. If I eat lots of sugary and fatty stuff, my skin looks bad. Good luck.

you could go to a tanning salon but you have to be cautious because i think you could get cancer because of the rays. or you could get it professionally sprayed on or go to the beach and get a tan.
